Parks Without Borders Summit Branding
NYC Parks
On May 24, 2016, the Parks Without Borders Summit brought together thought leaders from different disciplines to engage in inspiring discussions about the future of parks and public space. It was the first event of this nature in scope, scale, and audience that NYC Parks produced.

We presented several look-an-feel mood board options to the Commissioner to determine the overall design direction for the conference. I then created a lockup where the type was left open on all ends to support the idea of boundary-less parks. The lockup was often paired with a grid of photos that showcased diverse park visitors engaging in a range of activities. I also developed a set of icons with the same open line treatment, which was used as a supporting element on many of the conference materials.

I participated in brainstorming sessions to generate ideas for conference interactives, and went on several site walkthroughs to assist in determining opportunities for event branding and proper placement and set-up of signage, interactives, and other key elements.
The range of materials included promotional assets for email, web, and social media, event signage and interactives, screen graphics, giveaway merchandise, and an 88-page program.
